Gunslinger Grant.

With the Holidays and all that I took a break, but I'm back and with a new friend! This is a character I completed called Gunslinger Grants. I like the way he came out, and if an idea hits me he may be the first character I use in a game. Without further ado, here is Gunslinger Grant.

Normal Norman.

Welcoming Norman to the group! That makes three complete, and one with no arms haha. This guy is simple, just wanted to push another character out. I'm attempting to learn how to use Blender, and Unity so I can set up a mock scene with the three, but that is proving more difficult than I wish to tackle at the moment. Soon......Sooooonnnnnnnnnnn..

A Humble Home.

Not quite done with this one, but I wanted to try my hand at creating a building, and I'm kinda digging this one, for my first try I believe it turned out pretty well. I still have a lot more to learn, and a lot more practicing to do, but I'm proud of the progress I've been making.

Hammer of War.

After working on the Victory Sword, I wanted to work on more weapons because, who doesn't like weapons? This one I am calling Hammer of War, it hasn't seen any war, but who is to say something can't call itself something that it hasn't done?!

Victory Sword.

More practice, after some feedback on the first sword I did, I went back and took the advice and attempted to create a better looking sword.

Anston & Alez.

After finishing up the templates from the last post, I wanted to add a bit more detail to one of them so see how a fully done character would look. Below are two, currently going by Anston and Alez, Not sure if I'll do anything with them, but just wanted to see how it all looked when colored, and hair added. More to come later, but for now enjoy these two, and if you feel like leaving feedback, please do so below in the comment section.

Body Template Comparisons.

I don't usually post back to back, but I went back into the character and tweeked a few things to see if I could give the template a bit more character, and to see if I liked one style more than the other. Being this is like my baby I can't decide, so I'm asking for feedback on which design/style looks the best out of the three slightly different templates. Comment below to let me know what you think!

Front shot of Body Template 1.
Body Template 1 (Face, Shoulders, and Hands original).

Front shot of Body Template 2.
Body Template 2 (Face and Hands original, Shoulders thicker).

Front shot of Body Template 3.
Body Template 3 (Head/Face changed, Shoulders ticker, and Hands edited).

Body Template.

After a bit of tweeking, and exploring I've managed to put together a body template for the basic design of the characters. Nothing fancy, but I believe this one is by far the best one I've managed to come up with, and think this will be the design template I use if I decide to use Voxel Characters for a game project.

Sword of Slashing.

Another random piece I whipped up, just trying my hand at some different designs, and items so when I throw a complete character together I can add some weapons to it. I really need to work on painting the model. Pixel Art helps me when it comes to a basic palette, but I've seen some models that has awesome colors, and I want to focus some time into doing that. Well, here is the newest  piece to my collection of growing Voxel Art, The Sword of Slashing.

Three Items of Epicness!

Alright so I'm still working on getting my little guy finished, but I tend to take breaks inbetween the updates to him so during this break I whipped up the THREE ITEMS OF EPICNESS! the Bear Face Helmet, the Hammer of Pounding, and The Boots of Guarding! Complete randomness, but helps me get better through practice, practice, practice! I'll be putting up a lot more random things in my journey to master the art of Voxel.

Brother of the 61st Order.

Allllrrriiigghhht! So I'll be updating this post for a bit, this is my first time really jumping in on a character. After being a bit blah about the other guy, I wanted to take on something a bit more challenging, and better looking so I came up with Pillin, a brother of the 61st order. Far from being complete, but I will be putting up updates as I get further along in his creation.

Update 1

Starter.

Some Kind of Person, or Something.

Alright so I wanted to try my hand at a character, and this little guy happened, but I'm not too fond of him, seems kind of meh, but whatever. I'll be working on another, something a but more complete but for the mean time you can look at this ugly ducking of a bald ginger man-thing-person or something.

The Chair To Nowhere.

So being that I've totally been in love with Pixel Art for what seems like forever( 20 years), and naturally wanting to turn my 2D art into 3D art, but lacking the skills to do so, I decided to mess around with Voxels. Lucky me, I came across a handy dandy piece of software called MagicaVoxel and dove head first creating what I like to call.....THE CHAIR TO NOWHERE! Which you can take a gander at below. I will be placing the artwork I create with it here, and if things pick up I may add the files so they can be used in games, projects, or whatever the hell else any one wants to use them for...Except Voxel porn, there will be NO VOXEL PORN!
